Hayden King
Bio
Located in Clinton, Mississippi, Hayden King graduated from Mississippi College in 2023 and earned his Master of Science in Athletic Administration from Mississippi College in May 2025. As a student, he worked with the Mississippi College athletic department and assisted with Clinton High School athletics alongside the SID, including keeping statistics for basketball games. He has also contributed to MaxPreps by keeping score for the Clinton Arrows football team.
Hayden served on the Mississippi College women’s basketball staff during the 2025–26 season, gaining valuable experience in game operations, player development, and team support. At 25, he has been practicing bracketology for about ten years and specializes in women’s college basketball, college baseball, and college softball. He has been reporting and writing for College Sports Madness since 2021, with his work featured on ESPN, USA Today, podcasts, and numerous local media outlets and university publications nationwide. Since coaching a middle school basketball team in January 2023, Hayden is passionate about developing student-athletes and is actively pursuing a future as a women’s basketball coach at the high school or collegiate level.
