Regan Juenemann – 5’9” Freshman, Omaha

Regan Juenemann delivered one of the most electric scoring performances of the season, exploding for 40 points in Omaha’s 84–75 win over Oral Roberts on Wednesday.
Coming off the bench, the freshman sharpshooter was nearly unstoppable, shooting 13-of-19 from the field, 7-of-11 from three-point range, and 7-of-8 from the free throw line in just 30 minutes of action. She added three assists and committed just one turnover, showcasing poise beyond her years.
Juenemann’s 40-point outburst marks one of the top single-game scoring performances by a freshman this season and highlights her growing role as a dynamic offensive weapon. Her ability to stretch the floor and provide instant scoring punch earns her both Freshman of the Week and 6th Player of the Week honors.
Co-Defensive Players of the Week
Aniya McDonald-Perry – 5’9” Senior, New Haven
Middletown, Connecticut
Aniya McDonald-Perry anchored New Haven defensively across two tightly contested games.
Against Wagner, she was dominant on the glass and in the passing lanes, recording 12 defensive rebounds, 3 steals, and 4 blocks. She followed that effort with 4 more steals on the road at Le Moyne.
For the week, McDonald-Perry totaled:

- 4 blocks
- 16 defensive rebounds
Her defensive instincts, rebounding toughness, and rim protection from the guard position make her a deserving Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
LaReesha Cawthorn – 6’0” Freshman, Tennessee Tech
Franklin, Kentucky
LaReesha Cawthorn showcased elite defensive versatility in Tennessee Tech’s split week on the road.
In a win over UT-Martin, she filled the stat sheet with 5 blocks, 3 steals, and 11 defensive rebounds, controlling the paint and disrupting perimeter play. She followed that with 2 more blocks and additional rebounding production against Southeast Missouri State.
For the week, Cawthorn posted:
- 7 blocks
- 4 steals
- 15 defensive rebounds
Her ability to protect the rim while creating turnovers makes the freshman a rising defensive force and Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
Offensive Player of the Week
Marta Suarez – 6’3” Senior, TCU
Oviedo, Spain
Marta Suarez delivered a dominant two-game stretch, leading TCU to a pair of impressive victories.
At Cincinnati, Suarez poured in 32 points on 12-of-20 shooting while knocking down four three-pointers. She followed that performance with a double-double against Baylor, recording 21 points and 11 rebounds, including a scorching 5-of-6 from beyond the arc.
For the week, Suarez averaged:
- 26.5 points
- 10.0 rebounds
- 3.5 assists
- 64.3% from three (9-of-14)
Her efficiency, versatility, and ability to stretch the floor at 6’3” power TCU’s offense and earn her Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Player of the Week
Hannah Hidalgo – 5’6” Junior, Notre Dame
Merchantville, New Jersey
Hannah Hidalgo once again proved why she is one of the most dynamic two-way players in the country.
In a win over Syracuse, she posted 27 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 7 steals, stuffing the stat sheet across all categories. She followed that with an even more efficient performance at Louisville, scoring 30 points on 9-of-13 shooting, while adding 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
For the week, Hidalgo totaled:
- 57 points
- 18 rebounds
- 14 assists
- 12 steals
- 93.8% from the free throw line (15-of-16)
Averaging 38 minutes per game, she controlled tempo, generated offense, and created defensive havoc. Her elite production on both ends of the floor makes her the clear Player of the Week for February 23 – March 1.
