Last Four In: Clemson, Virginia, Columbia, South Dakota State
First Four Out: Mississippi State, Richmond, Utah, BYU
This bracketology takes a look at the current state of the bracket heading into a key Sunday that will have a big impact on where teams land on Selection Sunday. Tennessee has lost their luster lately and has dropped four of their last five in the SEC. They take a drop from hosting to a No. 7 Seed. Stanford looks like they will miss the Tournament for the 2nd straight year as they have dropped their last four contests and are 1-8 in their last nine games. Despite having a NET of 30, Nebraska is another team that will likely miss the Tournament after being a team that was projected to make the field a couple times this season. Texas swaps with Vanderbilt for the 1-Seed even though the Commodores won the head-to-head matchup. There’s a lot more that goes into the decision-making process. Additionally, Duke is now a 2-Seed as the projected ACC champion over Louisville who slides to a 3-Seed.
