Week 10 FCS Football Game Breakdowns
We are getting down to some must-win situations for many FCS teams with playoff hopes. The margin for error this time of year is razor thin. Towson does not have much to worry about at this point, but their opponent, 6-2 Delaware, has a tough stretch of games beginning with the trip to Towson. In the MVC, South Dakota and Southern Illinois are a couple of the 4-4 teams who can bolster their resume this week. Northern Iowa and Illinois State, two more 4-4 teams, face off this week in a game with massive playoff implications. The Panthers have lost four in a row, each more heartbreaking then the last. Following a 24-23 loss at North Dakota State, UNI lost to Southern Illinois, South Dakota and South Dakota State…all in overtime. If the 2013 campaign is going to turnaround for Northern Iowa, it has to start here.
