3/9 Women's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown
Last Eight In: Iowa State, Michigan State, Florida, Middle Tennessee, Temple, North Carolina, Gonzaga, Kansas State
First Eight Out: Michigan, James Madison, Memphis, Saint Joseph’s, USC, Wake Forest, Texas, Kansas
Iowa State moved itself into a precarious position after falling to Kansas State in the Big 12 tournament. The Cyclones have had a very good year, but there are good teams on the outside looking in right now and some of them will not make the field of 64. Meanwhile, Kansas State virtually secured a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Unfortunately, in-state rival Kansas didn’t do themselves any favors on Thursday and have fallen from the first team out to well down the list.
