Last Four In: Minnesota, Virginia Tech, Arizona, Colorado
First Four Out: Harvard, Columbia, Seton Hall, USF
Connecticut’s blowout over South Carolina was a shock to us all. This definitely changes things. UConn now takes South Carolina’s place as a 1-seed and South Carolina falls to a 2-seed. Texas retains their 1-seed after rallying to beat LSU. Should LSU had won, both South Carolina and Texas would’ve traded places with UConn and LSU. Still, there aren’t a whole lot of bubble teams outside the First Four In and First Four Out. I only see one team outside the First Four Out that has a shot and that’s Cincinnati. With about two weeks left in the regular season, these bubble teams need to prove themselves worthy of solidifying an at-large bid and of course, depending on any bid-stealers from mid-majors or any conference for that matter.
