Last Four In: Iowa State, Vanderbilt, Richmond, Arkansas
First Four Out: Washington State, Michigan, Auburn, Miami (FL)
With around one month left until the full bracket is revealed by the committee, there is still time for teams to make their case for an at-large bid. Teams like Iowa State, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Richmond, Washington State, Michigan, Auburn, and Miami are all sitting on the fence. Leading up to the selection show, I expect to see these teams rotate in and out of the tournament for the next couple of weeks. I don’t see anyone out of these teams who could really go on a run and solidify a spot in the tournament, but I could be wrong. Tennessee continues to climb the seed rankings as they find themselves as a 7-seed this week, as they have proven they can hang with the best teams in the country despite a loss at home to South Carolina. Only a select few teams can say this. They will have a rematch before the SEC Tournament begins, which will be interesting.
