Last Four In: Arkansas, Villanova, Texas A&M, Richmond
First Four Out: Miami, Minnesota, Auburn, Maryland
There seems to be a pattern this season of teams who make their way into the top five, then lose a couple of games the very next week and fall back out. Kansas State is the latest team to do that, and they lose their 1-seed spot from last week. Oklahoma currently runs the Big 12 with West Virginia not far behind. Richmond enters the Last Four In discussion this week from the Atlantic 10 as their resume has some quality Q1 & Q2 wins. Miami, Minnesota, Auburn, and Maryland are on the outside looking in. Vanderbilt continues to hold a spot in the field-of-64 for the first time in about a decade, while Tennessee continues to climb the seed rankings to a 9-seed this week with a 7-2 record in the SEC.
