Last Four In: Arkansas, Illinois, Purdue, St. John’s
First Four Out: Columbia, Kansas, West Virginia, Nebraska
Columbia nearly enters the tournament as an at-large bid after Princeton claims the automatic bid from the Ivy League. Arkansas and St. John’s are the next to go. Virginia Tech moves into the 1-Seed spot but continues to teeter between a 1 and 2 with Stanford on their tail. Iowa has the potential to become dangerous in this tournament if Caitlin Clark stays hot. Should they meet South Carolina, it would make for an interesting matchup. Iowa is a team that could definitively cut down the nets in Dallas should all the pieces fall into the right place.
