Conference play began in earnest for the most part across the country this week. The SEC and Big Ten are beginning to show some nice depth along with the Big 12, as Kansas has come on strong in the early part of the season. The West Coast Conference, outside of Pepperdine, has a lot of work to do in order to be a four bid league in the 2014 season. Also, North Carolina is starting to get things going offensively as they knocked off Notre Dame 3-2 on Saturday in South Bend.
