Ashley Gayle has stepped her game up on a yearly basis under Texas head coach Gail Gostenkors. After a quiet freshman season, where she played limited minutes at just over 13 a contest, her sophomore season laid the groundwork for where she is at now as a rising senior. She cracked the starting lineup on a more regular basis starting 29 games breaking the Texas single season blocked shot record with 103, and was actively involved on the boards at 6.4 per contest.
