Last Four In: Arkansas, Maryland, Wake Forest, Arizona State
First Four Out: Washington, Tennessee, Missouri, Clemson
Arkansas will take on Missouri on Monday in what will be essentially an elimination match for getting into the NCAA tournament as an at-large team. Both sides had sub .500 records in conference play. However, if the Razorback can win, that will give them 13 wins and should secure them in the NCAA tournament. Maryland, even losing by five goals to Virginia in the ACC quarterfinals, should sneak into the tourney. LSU can help their case by making noise in the SEC tournament. Wake Forest will be waiting anxiously since they failed to make the ACC Tournament. Washington needs a win against Washington State in its final regular season match to become eligible for consideration with a .500 record. They suffered two very difficult home losses to Stanford and Cal that have put the Huskies backs against the wall.
