Last Four In: Miami (FL), Indiana, Rutgers, LSU
First Four Out: Missouri, Colorado, Ohio State, Clemson
The Miami Hurricanes played their way into the tournament field with a resounding result over Notre Dame in front of a sellout crowd at Cobb Stadium in Coral Gables by a score of 2-0. The Ohio State Buckeyes are slowly putting their backs against the wall as far as being able to make the NCAA Tournament. The Buckeyes are 1-2-2 in a tough Big Ten slate so far and they have tough matchups ahead with Penn State, Nebraska, and Michigan. They are going to need to secure a couple of results in those matches to reinforce their worthiness for an NCAA Tournament berth. The Pac-12 also reinforced its status as a top league in all of women’s college soccer with Arizona State finding a way to end Stanford’s epic 73 game home unbeaten streak with a 10-0 over the Sun Devils at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.
