Last Four In: Missouri, Ohio State, Indiana, LSU
First Four Out: Duke, Colorado, Kansas, Miami (FL)
The Duke Blue Devils suffered a loss to Virginia and a draw against Virginia Tech which is not the end of the world, but now the Blue Devils are now at a point where they are going to have to go on a run to get back into the tournament. Missouri got a big result in knocking off Florida on Sunday. The win shows the strength of the Southeastern Conference as anyone can knock off anyone so far in conference play. Ohio State suffered a tough loss to Purdue at home and, with the toughness of the Big Ten Conference this season, will need to get points on the road to offset conceding a victory to the Boilermakers. Also, the emerging storyline of the season really is the power of the Big Ten conference as they are closing the gap on the Atlantic Coast Conference for supremacy in women’s soccer this season.
