3/15 Women's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Toledo Women's College Basketball

Last Eight In: Saint Joseph’s, Charlotte, Toledo, St. John’s, Iowa, Texas Tech, DePaul, Michigan

First Eight Out: West Virginia, Washington, Kansas, Duquesne, Saint Mary’s, Wyoming, Florida Gulf Coast, SMU

With Toledo’s loss to Central Michigan, the MAC will likely get two teams into the NCAA Tournament. Losing to the Chippewas is not a horrible loss, but it was bad timing for the Rockets. That is also bad news for the host of bubble teams hoping that the bubble would not shrink during the final few days heading up to Monday. However, arguments can be made for both sides of the Toledo story and they should be considered on the bubble along with the likes of West Virginia, Kansas and pretty much the entire A-10.
