Lodge had a slower start in 2010 due to an injury, but still managed to play in 19 games, starting in 14. Lodge got back into his rhythm later in the season netting four goals with three assists closing the 2010 season with 11 points. In the 2011 season Lodge came back with a vengeance, playing in all 17 games again, pounding in seven goals, with ten assists and finished with an impressive 24 points. Lodge also got his first collegiate hat trick in 2011 during UK’s 4-2 win over IPFW.

Lodge is a very diverse player being deadly accurate with long shots and long passes. His ball skills are among the best in the SEC. As long as Lodge carries over his momentum from the 2011 season, continuing to make shots on goal and pass the ball he will continue to be a huge asset to the UK team in the 2012 season.

Final Projection:

It is not just the goals but his passing ability and strong attacks that make him look good for a top round pick in the 2013 draft. What he needs is a repeat of the 2011 season and having UK finish in the top 25 will only increase his chances for a higher pick.
