Tommy Streeter, Junior, Wide Reciever, Miami
Overview:
Junior Tommy Streeter had a very good season at the U, catching 46 passes for 811 and eight scores, which led the team in all three areas. He won the Nick Chickillo most improved player of the year award as well. He was redshirted his freshman year, so he is a four year collegiate player.
Final Projection:
Streeter will forego his senior season and take his talents to the NFL come April. At this point he looks to be a third round selection. He has great size, which can make him difficult to defend. He has been a big play threat for the Hurricanes, so he will certainly get the attention of NFL scouts.
3/17/12 Update:
Streeter's 6-5 frame made him an interesting prospect, but his blazing speed at the NFL Combine vaulted him into the national spotlight. His lack of production at Miami is a big concern, but Streeter can turn into a true number one receiver at some point and that is worth a third round selection.
