Ricky Wagner, Junior, Offensive Tackle, Wisconsin
Overview:
Ricky Wagner has great NFL size and lots of playing experience. He started all 14 games last season as a redshirt junior. For the second straight year he also earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors, despite moving from right to left tackle. He excels as a run blocker and is an efficient pass blocker as well. Now as a redshirt junior, he is taking his talents to the NFL.
Final Projection:
Wagner has the size that you cannot teach, which makes him attractive to NFL scouts. He has shown unselfish character in his willingness to move positions based on team needs. He also can provide a team with a versatile backup. Wagner is still raw as an overall blocker so he is still projected to be a third to a fourth round draft choice.
