Marvin McNutt, Senior, Wide Receiver, Iowa
Overview:
Marvin McNutt had an excellent senior campaign, hauling in 82 passes for 1,315 yards and 12 touchdowns. For his career he caught 170 balls for 2,861 yards and 28 scores. He has great size and uses that to gain position on the defensive backs. He was the focal point of the Hawkeyes offense, so he is used to having the pressure that comes with being a go to receiver.
Final Projection:
At 6’4 and 215 pounds, McNutt is a physical specimen that scouts will fall in love with. He has the ability to haul in the tough catch, the size to shield defenders away from the ball, and the speed to break away from defenders. McNutt looks to be a late second to an early third round choice.
