Rio Ruiz, Senior, Third Base, High School
Overview:
Ruiz is another highly touted young prospect. He has extremely quick hands and generates tons of bat speed and power. He is a superb defensive player and a very good athlete as well. In 2010 he hit .440 and had an on base percentage of .541 while driving in 34 runs.
Final Projection:
With good size and a natural swing, Ruiz is without a doubt a first round selection. He has a long way to go, as he is still a prep athlete. But he has the potential to be a very good player at the hot corner in the future and an outstanding hitter.
