Overview:
Toon has the pedigree, the size, the hands, the speed, and the smarts of an NFL wide receiver. In his senior season he reeled in 10 touchdowns, caught 64 passes, and totaled 926 receiving yards. He can win a jump ball as well as juke out a defender with his great route running ability. He takes pride in his blocking and does a great job of that as well. He is a physical player, who never shies away from contact. He will always fight for the extra yards and hangs onto the football. Toon was second team All Big Ten in 2011.
Final Projection
The biggest deterrent from teams selecting Toon is his injury history. That being said, he will likely wind up a second round pick, at tremendous value to the team. However, it is possible he could be a draft day slide if teams are scared of his injury prone label.
