Let the Bowls Begins
The time for projecting is over and now it is all about the games on the field. The 2011/2012 bowl announcements are here and the months of college football excitement culminate in one game for those fortunate 70 teams headed to a bowl game. From Wyoming and Temple kicking things off on Saturday, December 17th until the BCS National Championship, College Sports Madness has you covered. Our bowl capsules will provide fans with a quick look at their opposition, or just a nice primer before you sit down for a day of bowl action.
An interesting matchup this year is the TicketCity Bowl, pitting Penn State against Houston. Not long ago that looked like a possible BCS game. But the Nittany Lions and the Cougars both faltered down the stretch and ended up in a lesser bowl game. It will certainly be a battle of offense versus defense. Can Penn State stop Case Keenum and the Houston passing attack? We shall find out on January 2nd.
