FCFI Semi-Final Playoff Review
Last week I noted to come back this week to see how bad College Sports Madness lost in the Fantasy College Football Invitational during the semifinals. The short answer is very, very bad. RotoWire did not need to score anywhere near 212.30 points, but they did anyway. The only reason they didn’t post 250 points was because Justin Blackmon got hurt.
We played our usual lineup with just a few changes…one of those changes being the benching of tight end Cooper Helfert who, of course, caught two touchdown passes. But it would not have mattered anyway. Case Keenum, Russell Wilson, Chris Polk, Rex Burkhead, Cierre Wood, Jeremy Ebert and Jermaine Kearse all performed well under their season average. There was no coming back from that. In all we posted a mere 101.80 points, easily our lowest total of the year. And it was a bad time to have a bad outing.
RotoWire takes on Athlon Sports for the much coveted title this week. We will be back next year to try and take the next step and reach the finals.
