First Four Out: BYU, Vanderbilt, Texas, Utah
Texas A&M lost and will now be placed among the one-loss teams like Georgia, Oregon, Texas Tech and Ole Miss. More interestingly though, BYU and Alabama are probably not happy to be in their conference championship games. Of course, both teams could move up in the rankings, but it will not be enough to get a bye. And a loss by either team will likely be the end of their playoff hopes. Meanwhile, Oklahoma and Notre Dame get the week off to prepare for the playoffs and hope that things work out in their favor for a home game.
