The most exciting new recruits this college football season

College football has always been an exciting sport for many fans across America. It gives them an opportunity to see who may have a future in the NFL and gives them a chance to highlight individuals who may perform well.

Many watch the young and upcoming athletes with intrigue, sometimes with a hope and desire that they may join the NFL team that they support in a few years and increase their chances of winning the Super Bowl. Others like to engage in college football because of the wagering-related opportunities that have become available through the form of casino gaming.

The best sites featured at TopAussiePokies.org can be found to have football-related slots available to play whenever desired. These titles allow fans to place bets on a game type that is simple and easy to understand, while allowing them to further their passion for the sport.

With the offseason being a time where fans can find it difficult because of the gap between seasons, casino games like slots have helped them to find new ways of entertainment, much in the same way that traditional video and mobile games have.

Indeed, with another class of exciting recruits entering college for the first time and those transferring via the portal set to make an instant impact on a new team, many have been left feeling excited about what the future could hold for their favorite college program.

So, with this in mind, which players appear worthy of taking a punt on? Who looks set to have a solid maiden year, and which prospects are worth keeping a very close eye on? ESPN have highlighted many of them…

  1. 1. Trebor Pena

Having transferred from Syracuse, Trebor Pena is now at Penn State. He could be a very exciting addition to the program, and one that could make a big difference. He is an excellent weapon for quarterback Drew Allar, with the pairing expected to be one of the best duos in college football next season. If last season’s numbers at Syracuse are anything to go by (84 receptions for 941 yards and nine touchdowns), then it could be a highly productive season for Penn State, despite their preference for the run game.

  1. 2. Gideon Davidson

Rated as one of the top running backs in college football, Gideon Davidson is a four-star recruit who has recently committed to Clemson. Many have suggested his early performances in camp resemble now-Jacksonville Jaguars and Clemson alumni Travis Etienne. He is able to quickly read the game and make cutting movements, which could see him reduce the void that Phil Mafah’s drafting to the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round leaves. As a high schooler, Davidson managed more than 8,000 rushing yards from scrimmage, with his pace likely to test many defensive lines throughout the season as a freshman.

  1. 3. Jack Endries

Making the switch from California to the Texas Longhorns, Jack Endries is an experienced college football player who can potentially bring a lot to Texas. He is a trusted pass catcher at the tight end position, which could allow the program to replace Gunnar Helm after he was selected by the Tennessee Titans in this year’s draft (4th round, 120th pick). Endries is very similar in terms of his play style, although he isn’t as athletic. Still, he possesses the skills teams desire in a tight end and could be what quarterback Arch Manning needs to help him progress his own production levels. Having led Cal in catches (56) and yards (623) last season, he should fit in at Texas without any issues.

  1. 4. Zachariah Branch

Another player to have transferred this offseason, Zachariah Branch has opted to switch from USC and head to the Georgia Bulldogs. The wide receiver will bring them experience and reliability at the position, having proved himself to be one of the best with the ball in his hands, which will be valuable as Georgia experienced the most drops of all FBS programs. He stagnated a little in his sophomore year, but as a freshman, he was the first USC player to be named a first-team All-American, as he became an instant playmaker. Add his explosiveness with the ball to the offense, and the Bulldogs will feel they have an attacking threat that will challenge any defense.

  1. 5. Max Klare

Former Purdue tight end Max Klare is another player to watch closely this upcoming season, as he turns out for the Ohio State Buckeyes. The college program is going with a new offense after losing many of their key players to the draft and transfer portal. With a new quarterback in the system in Julian Sayin (who has played just four games and not started any), the experienced Klare offers a weapon that could make a huge difference. The tight end was often found freely when with Purdue, making 51 catches for 685 yards and created several mismatches in the pass game. He can create separation and run excellent routes, making him an excellent addition to the college program.
