The big games in the MVFC were not that exciting in the end. NDSU crushed North Dakota 41-17. Northern Iowa had a brutal home loss at the hands of South Dakota State by a score of 41-3. Illinois State made easy work of Southern Illinois and won by 35 points. Perhaps the biggest winner of the day was Abilene Christian who moved to a perfect 3-0 in UAC play after defeating Central Arkansas. The Wildcats have two losses on the season, but those were by one point at Texas Tech and by three points to a very good Idaho team. Abilene Christian is now in the driver’s seat in the UAC and they may not be seriously challenged again until they take a trip to Tarleton State on November 16th.
