It was a big week in the FCS with four games pairing up teams in the top 25. Perhaps the big winner of the week was Mercer, who shutdown Chattanooga by a score of 10-3. Most of the SoCon starts conference play next week, but it was a fun opener for those who like defense. Furman also finally picked up a win and are still projected in our bracket despite a 1-2 start to the season. They will have a big test at William & Mary on Saturday that could decide the direction of their season.
