Clemson Makes Big Moves in The Madness Bowl Projections
Clemson may have had a slight advantage playing Florida State this week with E.J. Manuel out with an injury, but that win has catapulted Clemson into a great position to reach the Orange Bowl. The Tigers now own the tie-breaker against FSU and are in control of the ACC Atlantic Division. Even if the Tigers offense, which thus far is coming along very nicely under the new scheme, struggles on the road against Virginia Tech next week, the Tigers should still win the division. And by December during the ACC Championship game, this offense could be one of the most dynamic in the nation. If they play the Hokies again in Charlotte, it may yield different results. Tajh Boyd and freshman Sammy Watkins are turning into a great quarterback/wide receiver combination and everybody knows what running back Andre Ellington can do. Clemson is now a team to keep an eye on as they inch closer to a BCS bid.
