Week 3 Football Bowl Projections

Oklahoma Sooners College Football Landry Jones

 Week 3 Football Bowl Projections

Oklahoma did not look great during their victory at Florida State last week, but they got the job done. Landry Jones’ 37 yard touchdown pass to Kenny Stills in the fourth quarter gave the sooners the lead for good. The victory over FSU may be Oklahoma’s toughest road test all season long and that puts Coach Bob Stoops and company in a great position to make the BCS National Championship game. Even when it’s a little ugly, OU can get the job done. Games against Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor and Oklahoma State will not be easy, but many expect the Sooners to run the table and they took a big step in that direction on Saturday night. Alabama is still cruising along nicely and College Sports Madness projects the Tide to face off against OU in our latest Bowl Projection. Alabama’s toughest tests may come in the next two weeks with Arkansas and a trip to the Swamp on the docket. If they can escape with a couple wins, the Tide will be tough to beat as their momentum builds.
