3/12 Men's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: Miami, Michigan, Indiana, Wyoming, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, SMU, Wake Forest

First Eight Out: Rutgers, Oklahoma, Xavier, Dayton, North Texas, BYU, Texas A&M, Saint Louis

Rutgers failing to win a Big Ten Tournament game places them just outside the field now. Virginia Tech’s convincing win over UNC vaults them into the field relatively safely. Oklahoma’s upset of Baylor likely isn’t enough to earn them a spot in the tournament. North Texas is highly unlikely to receive at-large consideration after losing in the CUSA semifinals. Texas A&M could jump up right to the cut line with a win over Arkansas. The Atlantic 10 looks prime to have a bid stealer to shake things up as well.
