3/1 Men's Basketball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Eight In: Creighton, Miami, San Diego State, Michigan, Rutgers, North Carolina, Indiana, Memphis

First Eight Out: SMU, BYU, Oregon, Florida, Virginia Tech, St. Bonaventure, VCU, Dayton

The bubble is beginning to shrink greatly as we head into the final week of the regular season. Loyola Chicago, currently an 11-seed very possibly has to win the Missouri Valley tournament to get in. North Texas, also an 11-seed most likely has to win their conference tournament as well. Murray State looks like a lock and Davidson should be safe, but the committee could also decide their mid-major resumé’s aren’t enough.

Meanwhile, Memphis passes SMU for the final at-large bid. The only teams out that are likely alive for an at-large are SMU, BYU, Oregon, Virginia Tech & Florida.
