The fourth spot in the playoffs turned out to be very interesting. Utah would have likely been in had they won on Friday night. Georgia would have gotten in had they beat LSU in the SEC title game, but that did not happen. Oklahoma and Baylor went to overtime in what was likely a play-in game into the playoffs. The Sooners came out on top and should have played their way into the last spot, joining Ohio State, LSU and Clemson in the playoffs.
