Most of the top teams won during week three. Mississippi State and Vanderbilt were the big winners on the day. The Bulldogs dominated LSU in a 37-7 win. They are now in a great position to compete in the SEC West. However, they have road trips to Georgia and Auburn in the next two weeks. Vanderbilt beat Kansas State 14-7 to move to 3-0. The Commodores host Alabama to kick off their SEC season next week. Alabama is clearly the favorite, but the SEC is going to be very interesting the rest of the way.
