The bowl picture is beginning to clear up as many teams have reached the magical six win total. It also looks very likely that a few 5-7 teams will again reach the bowls due to a lack of bowl eligible teams. That could benefit a team like Vanderbilt, who has the highest APR score of all the teams likely to finish with five wins. They are sitting at 5-6 right now and host Tennessee this week. Obviously with a win, the Commodores are headed to a bowl, but their chances are high that even with a 5-7 record, they will be bowling too.
