Texas A&M’s foray into the playoff committees top four did not last long. The Aggies went to Mississippi State and lost 35-28. Despite that tough loss, Texas A&M looks in decent shape to make a New Year’s Six Bowl. The trip to Starkville was the last time Coach Kevin Sumlin and company leave College Station. Ole Miss and Texas-San Antonio should be relatively easy victories, but then comes the home clash against LSU. A win there and the Aggies will still go to a big bowl game. However, the playoffs are now certainly out of the equation.
