There was quite a bit of movement in the bowls this week, but not at the top where Alabama, Clemson, Washington and Ohio State remain projected into the playoffs. With Houston’s loss to Navy, Boise State has moved into Cotton Bowl as the representative of the non-power conferences. The Broncos dismantled a surprisingly decent New Mexico squad and have some big games yet to play which could boost them closer to the playoffs if other teams begin to falter. Most notable is a Thursday night game at home against BYU on October 20th.
