Auburn and Florida State split two games during the middle of week at Auburn. The Tigers outscored the Seminoles 12-10 during the doubleheader. The test against Florida State was very beneficial for Auburn over the weekend against Georgia as they won two low scoring one-run games as part of a sweep of the Bulldogs. Alabama continues to get stronger as the season moves forward. They executed very well offensively for the most part against Kentucky. Oklahoma continued its charge toward a top eight national seed after pummeling Tennessee 9-0 in Knoxville on Saturday. Fresno State and Cal State Fullerton are two teams to watch out west as the Bulldogs especially are getting closer to cracking the top 16 and potentially could host a regional. UCLA and Arizona have a very critical game three Monday night in Tucson and both teams are battling to move up to the top 16 seed line for the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
