Week 14 Football Bowl Projection Breakdown
With Clemson winning and Alabama winning, the playoffs should look just like we thought they would look. Oklahoma will join in and the Spartans of Michigan State, winner of what was virtually a play-in game in the Big Ten Championship, round out the field of four. On the other end of the bowl spectrum, Georgia State picked up a big win over Georgia Southern to become bowl eligible. Kansas State also became bowl eligible, although they could have gone bowling anyway thanks to their APR. That leaves three 5-7 teams in the mix and that should be Nebraska, Minnesota and San Jose State. Illinois and Rice were given hope only to have it taken away by Georgia State’s victory.
