Week 9 Football Bowl Projection Breakdown
With so many top teams taking Halloween off, there was not much movement in the major bowls this week. In fact, Florida International was the only team who left any of the projected bowls. Their loss to rival FAU puts the Golden Panthers in a tough spot. They are 4-5 and still have Marshall and Western Kentucky on the schedule. They have to win one of those games, and beat Charlotte, to be bowl eligible. That puts Missouri into the conversation, even though nobody is really convinced that they can get to six wins either. With 80 bowl spots up for grabs this year, it is looking quite possible that a 5-7 team, or two, will have to get an invite to fill all of the spots. So hold onto hope all you seven loss teams.
