Quite a few bubble spots got taken away over the weekend as teams like Texas, Michigan and Florida International took bids away from hopeful at-large teams. Ironically, Michigan and FIU may have taken spots away from conference mates. In our final bracketology, the Big Ten is down to five teams, with Ohio State, Michigan State and Nebraska all not happy about the Wolverines winning their conference tournament. In Conference USA, Florida International came out of nowhere to earn the league’s automatic bid. Southern Miss is now left out and they could certainly blame FIU if they are indeed left out of the NCAA Tournament.
