11/13 Men's Soccer Bracketology Breakdown

Notre Dame Men's College Soccer

Last Four In: Ohio State, Old Dominion, South Florida, Davidson

First Four Out: American, Delaware, Radford, Wake Forest

Most of the early conference tournament drama has taken place in the A-10 and Conference USA. As we talked about on Monday, the George Mason and Davidson game was huge. That contest ended in a draw and George Mason advanced on penalties. That was not a result that should knock Davidson totally out of this thing, but of course they have no more chances to prove themselves. George Mason meanwhile is looking good and could get a quality win over top seed Rhode Island on Friday too. In Norfolk, Old Dominion was the big winner of Wednesday’s Conference USA first round action. The Monarchs took out New Mexico 2-1. While we still have UNM in the field, that could have ended up being a play-in type of contest depending on how many teams play their way into the tournament this weekend. ODU moves into the field of 48 with that win and even if they fall to Charlotte in the semifinals, it will help their RPI.
