Just when it looks like the bubble is getting smaller, Louisiana Tech goes and loses to Texas-San Antonio. It would have been extremely beneficial if the Bulldogs would have not added such a horrible loss to their resume. Losing to Utah State, Denver or New Mexico State down the line would not have been nearly as bad. Like Middle Tennessee State, Louisiana Tech deserves to remain in the discussion, but a handful of teams will likely have to play their way out of the tournament for the WAC to get two representatives into the NCAA Tournament. With Oklahoma, California, Minnesota, Colorado and other presumably safe teams losing, there are going to be quite a few worried players, coaches and fans on Selection Sunday and a lot of 9, 10 and 11 seeds who do not have much momentum heading into the NCAA Tournament.
