Southern Illinois suffered their first loss of the season after a disappointing trip to Youngstown State. The Salukis managed to score just three points. That quality win puts YSU right back in the mix for a spot in the playoffs. As usual, the MVFC continues to beat itself up. Right now there are eight teams with a more than realistic shot of reaching the playoffs. The separation will begin this week when six of those teams play each other.
