South Dakota earned their way into the bracket this week by upsetting North Dakota State. The Coyotes were up 21-3 at the break and held on to defeat NDSU 24-19. Elon also enters the bracket after their 14-6 victory over previously undefeated William & Mary. The Phoenix are now 3-0 in CAA play, but they still have a lot to prove with a few tougher conference road games coming up in October and November.
