Week 4 FCS Football Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In: Eastern Washington, Chattanooga, Central Arkansas, Youngstown State

First Four Out: Western Carolina, Mercer, Rhode Island, UC Davis

The Big Sky had some huge games this weekend. In a battle of top ten teams, Idaho snuck past Sacramento State on a last second field goal…and added a touchdown on the final play to win 36-27. For now, that moves Idaho into a first-round bye. Montana State’s trip Weber State ended up to be far less dramatic. But the Bobcats proved they are a team that can win the Big Sky after their impressive 40-0 road victory. Eastern Washington may have been the big winner of the day. The Eagles started 0-2, but picked up a quality win at UC Davis on Saturday to move to 2-2. A win on Saturday against Idaho would fly the Eagles right up towards a spot in the top eight and a first-round bye.
