5/1 Baseball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In:  Kansas State, Virginia Tech, Iowa, UC Irvine

First Four Out:  UTSA, Texas State, Georgia Tech, Washington

LSU reclaims the #1 National Seed as South Carolina drops two out of three at home to unranked Auburn this weekend. Wichita State has taken over as the projected American champion with Houston right behind them. However, East Carolina can still make up some ground and clinch the regular season. After Xavier looked like they were ahead in the Big East, Creighton takes over with Connecticut as an at-large bid. Indiana slips in the Big Ten after taking a few losses and Maryland replaces them as the projected Big Ten auto-bid. Kansas State has entered the conversation with being part of the Last Four In, and so has Washington who are just on the outside looking in.
