4/24 Softball Bracketology Breakdown

Last Four In: Maryland, Ohio State, Liberty, Ole Miss

First Four Out: Penn State, Arizona, San Diego State, Missouri

Both Arizona and Arizona State from the Pac-12 fall out of the projected field of 64. Penn State moves into the First Four Out with Missouri slipping out of the tournament from the SEC. Liberty receives an at-large bid from the ASUN with projected auto-bid Central Arkansas. Maryland finds themselves back in the tournament with the help of other teams around them. Wichita State is still not quite there to be a national seed and host. Their resume is not there yet even though they have beaten Oklahoma State twice.
